We produce grass-fed and finished beef on rotationally grazed pastures using heritage breed Pineywoods cattle. We process that beef at inspected facilities and have meat for sale by the cut, quarter, half or whole. If you want to complete your own cut sheet, we can set a locker date for a half or whole beef.
The beef you buy in the store is fed corn and other grains that give the animal a lot of fat, but not healthy fat. This fat not only lacks nutritional value; it also lacks flavor. NIH Grassfed beef
Grass-fed beef you buy in the store very likely comes from another country. Up to 80% of grass-fed beef sold in US stores comes from other countries. It may even say, “Product of US”. That just means that it was processed in the US, not necessarily raised in the US.
If you and your family like beef but have concerns about the environmental impact and health problems that are caused by conventional beef, grass-fed beef is for you. If you want to be a part of a sustainable food system that gives you a safe, reliable supply of affordable beef, give us a call and let’s get you fed!
